JESUS SALVADOR Hispanic Ministry represents the Spanish speaking prayer community at Our Lady of Lourdes.  Under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Father Julio B. Rivero, T.O.R., this ministry was created in 1990 to answer the need to propagate the word of God to Spanish speaking people.  We come together because the Lord has placed in us the desire to form a community of love.  The Holy Spirit guides us as we share the spirit of prayer, service and fellowship.  We love and support one another with our strong faith in the mercy of God.

Responding to Jesus’ call to his disciples, our talents have been put together, allowing God to work through us.  The Spirit of the Lord has led us to form an Intercessory Prayer Group, a Prison Ministry, and Visitation to the sick and home bound.  We assist the Ministry of Consolation of Our Lady of Lourdes in preparing the Catholic Funeral Liturgy for Spanish speaking families.  We prepare young and old to receive the Sacraments, have workshops and a yearly Mass for the Healing of the Family Tree.
We also celebrate a yearly Healing Mass in the month of October.

We Meet:

Every Monday:

• Prayer Meeting in DuBois Center from 7:30 to 9:00 PM
• Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM
• 2nd and 4th Monday, Fr. José González conducts Bible Study

1st and 3rd Wednesdays:

Divine Mercy Meeting in the DuBois Center Library from 7:30 to 8:30 PM with talks by Fr. José González based on St. Faustina’s Diary.
