Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC)
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are confirmed Catholics who assist our priests in the distribution of Holy Communion at our weekend and weekday Masses.  Parish and diocesan training are required for this ministry.  You may also take Holy Communion to individuals in the hospital, nursing homes, ALFs or to private homes. (Safe environment training is required for the ministry to the sick and elderly.)

Readers
Ministers of the Word must be 14 years of age or older.  Their mission is to proclaim God’s Word at Mass and other liturgical functions.  Training is provided at the parish and diocesan level. A dedication to God’s Word and prayerful preparation is necessary to fulfill this ministry successfully.

Altar Servers
This important ministry of serving at Mass is available to all boys and girls of the parish who have made their first Communion and are in 5th through 12th grade.  Training is provided at 4 weekly sessions in the Fall. Opportunities are also available for adult men and women who would like

Music Ministers
Music is an integral part of our Liturgy. There are opportunities for adults and young adults to serve in this ministry. The traditional choir serves at the 11:30 AM Sunday Mass and all "High Holy Days". The contemporary choir sings at the 9:30 AM Sunday Mass.

Hospitality

Ushers
This group consists of men, women and teens who welcome and seat people in a caring and orderly manner.  They take up the collection, direct Communion lines, deal with emergencies and assist in any other way needed.  Training will be provided. 

Greeters
Men, women and teens volunteering in this ministry greet people at the entrances of the church.  They offer God’s own hospitality to friend and stranger alike. 

Gift Bearers
Do you wish to celebrate an anniversary, birthday or other special occasion?  You may call the office at (727) 733-3606 to request a date to bring the gifts of wine and bread to the altar at Mass.

Liturgical Environment Team
This committee is responsible for decorating our church in accordance with each of the liturgical seasons.  Much help is needed especially at Christmas and Easter. 

Sacristan
Volunteers assist the parish sacristan in preparing for weekend, daily and funeral Liturgies.  Care of linens and sacred vessels are also the responsibility of the sacristans. Additional volunteers assist with the preparation for special Liturgies.
